After the hustle and bustle of summer, the tranquility of autumn is a welcome respite for many introverts. Autumn weather and shorter days mean that we go back inside a little more and get some more room to breathe. A few reasons why fall is the introverted season.

New hobby

Fall is by far the best time to start a new hobby. Introverts love to do something on their own that puts their brain or body to work. The time after the summer often feels like a fresh start, in which it can be nice to pick up something new. Use this moment to think about what you would like to do and just start doing it.

Autumn clothes

Tight shirts make way for comfortable sweaters and cardigans. The ideal clothing for sitting on the couch with a cup of tea or coffee. But also the clothes that keep you nice and warm during a walk through autumn weather.

Peace and quiet

The beautiful weather of summer means that we go out en masse. As a result, it can get quite busy in some places: something that introverts don't like. With the autumn, peace returns a little more. The perfect time to recharge after the hustle and bustle of summer.

Autumn weather

Cold autumn weather is the best excuse to stay indoors. That way you finally get to read that book or watch those series on Netflix. Canceling plans simply because you are too tired suddenly seems a lot more understandable too. Feel free to give in to that feeling and take some time for yourself every now and then. That way you make sure you keep enough energy as an introvert.

Dinners

Summer barbecues are often massive and crowded, but in the fall the dinner parties become smaller because a house can only host so many people Introverts prefer smaller groups of people, which makes them more likely to enjoy smaller-scale dinners. It makes it easier to have a deep conversation and not get overwhelmed by the sheer volume of people at barbecues.

Reflection

What could be more beautiful than watching nature change color in the fall? Nature literally lets things go and autumn is a great season for humans to do that too. What things would you like to stop doing and what would you like to start with? Fall is the perfect time for reflection, whether you do it at home on the couch or on a brisk walk.
