Summer is the season of getting outside and socializing. A big contrast to the tranquility of autumn and winter, but that doesn't mean you should skip summer as an introvert. A few tips for fun summer activities if you're more introverted.

Into nature

As an introvert you can relax by seeking out silence and where better to do that than in the middle of nature? So get out and about, whether on foot, by bike or even by scooter. Enjoy the surroundings and the soothing tranquility that you can still find in the middle of the forest or on the heath. Would you like to stay a little longer? Then look at possibilities for small-scale campsites or houses in the middle of nature.

A day of wellness

In wellness centers there is an unwritten rule that you do not make too much noise during your stay. This certainly applies to saunas, which make them an oasis of peace amidst all the summer crowds. Do you need a day of recharging? See if there is such a wellness center near you. They often also offer packages if you want to stay longer than a day. Make sure you choose a small-scale one, because it can be quite busy in the larger centers.

To the outdoor movie

In many cities you can watch movies in the open air in the summer, whether or not in the form of a drive-in. It's the perfect getaway if you feel like losing yourself in a great movie for an evening, while enjoying being outdoors. Let yourself be carried away by a special story. Also fun to do with other introverts.

Gardening

In the summer, nature is in full bloom and so there is a lot to do when you have a garden. If you plant vegetables in the spring, you can often reap the benefits in the summer. If you sow flowers, you can harvest them now and give them a nice spot on your summer outdoor table. Because you work with your hands, gardening helps you to clear your head. And what could be nicer than enjoying the peace in your own garden after all that work?

Reading a book

Due to the hustle and bustle of everyday life, it is often difficult to find time to read a book. Now that the summer holidays have arrived, things will probably get a little easier. Install a hammock in your garden or on the balcony, find a quiet spot on the beach or settle down during your holiday stay. Plenty of places and options to read a book in peace now. Are you too busy during the day because of activities or children playing? Then make sure you have an hour free in the evening to read for a while.
