When looking for a job, we sometimes tend to adapt to what is being asked. But what if you turn it around: what do you need in a job? What environment do you thrive in as an introvert? And what should a working week look like? What is the ratio of working from home and being at the office? A lot is possible in the current labor market, so make sure that a job also suits you in this regard.

Describe your dream job

Do you have a list of your strengths and what you need in a job? Then it is important to translate this into a dream job. What does it look like for you? Which tasks are included? In what kind of environment? And with what kind of people? Putting this on paper will help you to look for such a job.

Orient yourself

Also make an overview of this. Then talk to people who already work in such a role or at that company. That way you get an idea of ​​what it really is like.

Use the things you have put on paper for this and make sure that you also find out during your application whether the work environment suits you. Does it feel right?
